1st ride with the Troutie Liberator after 4 years with a Lumi halogen, wow what a difference, it's like day light to night in comparison, even at the lower setting and a great clean white light rather than the yellowy beam with the Lumis, no pics of off road but it was stunningly good, even startled a fox on a bridleway, he just sat there until i was within touching distance (the though did cross my mind that they might bite and have rabies) but at the last minute he broke for the hedge and was away, i also got chased by two dogs on those extendable leads whilst on the road, so in conclusion..
great for riding, hated by animals

Nice one Rocketdog. and a good encounter with foxy ๐
Managed to run over a badger on my second outing with my Liberator, charged out of the bushes straight under the back wheel. Somehow I did'nt crash and the badger scuttled off into the bushes. ๐
ha ha, not just me then, might have to have some "kills" stickers made up for the top tube like fighter pilots used to
Had a look at your other photos on your blog, good fun spotting your location in each one. Surprised we havn't crossed paths, i ride all the same paths and have done for the past 5-6years......
i like the stickers idea... but might add a sticker each time i fall off instead of each time i kill something. now where's that pack of barbie stickers my niece gave me!?
Where you from Ben, most rides are centered in a couple of areas
Leamington.....
