After some help guys,
Took delivery of a new lumen liberator last week, really pleased with the lamp unit but i've not had chance to use it yet as I've got battery mounting issues.
I ride a intense tracer with a 70mm stem so it's not really an option to mount on the bars or stem and the frame shape makes it difficult to find a suitable position to mount it in a frame bag. The only real position is in a bottle cage under the down tube right in the path of all the crap from the front wheel which I don't want to do.
Anyone got any suggestion on how I can mount the battery to my frame. I've already sent Troute an email ref so hopefully he may be able to help.

I put mine on one side of the headtube, the velcro strap is long enough to wrap around the top and down tube at the head tube end
doesnt budge an inch with a strap round the toptube.
