[#1412904]

run them off Light and Motion batteries? My HiD has died and I am investigating alternative sources of light, having seen a trout in action (very impressive) was wondering if I could use the light unit with existing batteries.

I doubt you'd get much run time from an L&M battery & you'd be pushing the Maxflex hard with 11.1 volt supply.
What Ah rating is the battery?

Just returned home from fitting bathroom floors .

Minimum voltage for the 7 up or Liberator is a 14.8 volt pack

I do have a couple of 7 ups and 1 x liberator which have been used as demos for a few folks going cheap
