Quick ride last to see how my new Troutelight Mini performs out on the trails,riding to my local woods low was more than enough for getting there, once into the woods tried medium and high on the first singletrack climb and medium was perfect, beam giving great spread and depth up the trail,anyway review ends there as i managed to get an inch long tear in my back tyre!so a half hour walk home followed.
From the short ride i am very happy with the light,i have had a lot of different lights(Lupine hid,Hope 2 + 4 and a Dx) and although only a brief ride so far i think the Trout beats the lot! money well spent and looking forward to a winter of night rides.
To be fair for £200 more if wants to be beating the DX 😉
...and yes I am bitter as I want one but cannot justify the cost.
Jamie the Dx is fantastic for the money, but the beam on the Trout is
much better.
