[#4249468]

I'm turning to the forum as I'm lost..basically I just want some trousers for cycling; not skintight, not DH padded stuff, just straightforward trousers I can use my short innards with, for pootling about on XC - like an overtrouser.

Looking on CRC I'm gobsmacked at the cost of things; is this just the world we live in (£60 upwards) or am I looking in the wrong place?

As far as I'm concerned, £30ish is a fair price - any advice on where to look?

Thanks, Rich

Ronhill Bikesters. Not exactly trousers, but they're not skintight. You can get them for £20.

+1 to giantbiker! The kiwi's are great 🙂 I bought a few pairs and wear over padded shorts...very light, quick drying and more importantly dirt cheap!

Got some Peter Storm pants from Millets (or Blacks maybe). Not expensive, zip off from regular pants to long shorts to regular shorts. Do me fine.
