hmmm
interesting thanks
your biggest issue is going to be that the rear-end is 120mm spaced so there's no chance of getting derailleur gears in there, i haven't bothered to see if you can get a 120mm spaced hub gear because i suspect it wouldn't be worth all the hassle
ah, i thought that might be an issue
shame as there are quite a few about and i fancy a SS winter bike/geared tourer
What about an Alfine hub gear, would that go on a 120 spacing. Did I see a pompino with that done on the On-One site?
Placed an order for a tricross on Friday so hopefully will have it tomorrow. I might even look into making it fixed.
doesn't really offer enough choice for touring, the gears are too widely spaced
it'd have to be a rohloff and they are a little too pricey!
Its SA or nowt for the spacings. I have looked.
Pompino comes in 135 and 120 flavours. The Alfine is 135. Like mattsccm says you're limited to 120 size hubs. I think there might be SRAM 3speeds that fit as well SA
