I'm off to Tremar Coombe for a week with the family on Saturday and will be taking the bike, can anyone suggest good places for MTB XC, nothing to mad
Usually ride over Thorndon, Danbury and Epping so something along these lines

Deviock wood near Bodmin for a play. easy cycle track to Padstow is a good family ride.

You have Bodmin Moor on your doorstep. Caradon Hill & Minions is a good ride.
Do you have a Garmin as I can send you a GPX file of a loop up there.
Could be interested in a ride up there too next week maybe Tuesday late afternoon or early eve. Email in profile if you want to sort something out.
Unfortunately there is little-to-none legal MTB'ing on Bodmin Moor itself, we stayed on the Moor last month and it's stunning - but not a lot of riding i'm afraid. Closest for that would be Dartmoor.
Hi Crispy, thanks for the offer but at this stage I can't commit to a time as its a family holiday and I will be fitting in the rides around everything else and I don't have a garmin 🙁
