[Closed] Trek Top Fuel rear shock cable?

Any Top Fuel (2011) users had a problem with the inner cable of the Shimano remote shifter/change lever pulling through the cable end grub screw on the Fox RP2 rear shock ? I've replaced the cable a couple of times & yet the grub screw doesn't seem to fasten onto the cable enough for the remote lever to work. Also tried a DIY method with a heavier duty, canti brake cable bolt but only seems to be temp solution, still have the same issue. I am considering taking the remote lever off altogether as the Pro Pedal/Open positions doesn't seem to change that much, although noticable on road climbs. Any suggestion? Thanks.
