Hello people, can anyone tell me the real weight of the trek remedy 8 & 9 09 bikes??? Im looking at getting the r9, felt the weight, but not sure what it actually weighs, also looking at the r8 as it still looks killer, but how uch hevier is it??? Thanks.

If you've felt the weight then what does it matter what the figures on the scales say? Quoted weights are normally without pedals.

Have you test ridden it? Does it feel heavy? Its not an xc race bike so does it matter?

Ive felt the weight for the r9, but what im wondering is how much hevier is the r8??? Ive not felt the weight of that and dont want something that weighs too much more than the r9. So has anyone got the figures??

about 10oz and £300....spec is good on both to be fair

I'f you're after a remedy 9 I have one for sale in Large - it's pretty awesome - goes down hills like a train!

My Remedy 8 probably weighs around 30lbs. I went from a 5 spot to it and I'm really surprised how much better all round it is. It may not be quite as quick uphill, but it does pedal well enough. Point it downhill and it is unreal. well worth any extra effort I may have to put in to get it there. Really pleased with it.
