Seen pics on MTBR forum but they were quickly taken down.

Someone there said the details would be realised on the 5th of April.

Cheers all least they have some good tyres on them XR4s 29x3. should work a lot better in the mud than what comes on the ridged staches.

But on the upside, you get a free bottle of eye bleach with every bike.

tyres on them XR4s 29×3

And I've just found out there's a 27.5x2.8 XR4  too. That could be ideal for those wanting a B+ mud tyre.

I'm not convinced, the 29+ and fat bikes kinda work as a low maintenance hardtail, I can't help but think something must get lost in translation when you try and make them a FS?

I'm sure it's fun, but more fun than a Fuel EX 27.5+?

I thought that would be my perfect non race MTB.   Then I got looking at 29+ hardtails for winter - whats recommended on a budget?

I love the way they've splashed the only bright colour on the bike, right onto the ugly bit. LOOK WHAT WE DID! It's really very odd. But I reckon apart from that, it's actually pretty handsome. And it's obviously full of Remedy 29 dna like the Slash and Fuel Ex...

It's not a bike I'd buy but I'm kind of glad they're making it. For me full suss 650b+ was just a pointless worst-of-all-worlds, not even bad enough to be interesting, but I'd like to try this.

I like the look of it anyway. If it makes it to the UK I'll have a test ride at least. Had a Krampus for years and still love it but always wondered what 29+ would be like with full suspension.

I had the earlier stache with front suspension and loved it, wish I've never sold it as it was my all time favourite hard tail. I can see this one being a whole lot of fun and if I hadn't just bought a new bike then I would be down the Trek store...

XR4 is a great tyre, using 29x2.4 atm. It's the only good thing about that bike

Have a 9 today and seriously tempted to buy a Full frameset, I'll be in the USA at the end of the month and the local Trek shop have my size in stock for 1999USD!
