Anybody ride 'em? What are your thoughts?

Awesome, i'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Would like a niche/small production/arty cross specific only companies offering but the Trek rides better, cheaper, better warranty and I can get the hangers when I launch it half way up a tree.

The latest carbon one looks frickin' awesome..

Like an OCLV for Offroad.

The XO1/ XO2 look pretty bog standard boring Alu tubed CX bikes really.

Can't say they inspire me personally.. ๐Ÿ˜

Never ridden one mind, so don't have an informed opnion sadly..

One one dirty disco it puts all the big players to shame unless you need - have to have a big brand on the down tube

Carbon ones are very nice but new and so no bargains around, ali ones are very normal but can be had in the sales. Standard Trek lifetime replacement, so no worries there

very normal

Very normal is fine by me. ๐Ÿ™‚

That said, I suspect something like a Cross-Check would be better suited to my commuting/occasional amateur CX needs.

I've had an XO2 for a few years now.

At the time I think they were a bit of a bargain for the kit that's hung off them, especially if you like the wheel set.
Frame's fitted with bottle bosses and eyelets if you need them, but otherwise it's just a cx bike with little to distinguish it from all the other cx bikes in the market except for the 'handmade in the usa' sticker.

Does the job for me.
