Can anyone please recommend a suitable headset conversion to fit tapered 1.5 - 1 1/8 steerer forks into Trek 4500 headtube (2010 disc frame).
If I remove the lower headtube cup I can fit the forks through the tube, but I guess I need some sort of extenal headset / cup which would acommodate the lower bearings.
I think the internal bore is approx 44mm and ext is approx 50mm.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
