Going to Spain this year for a week of trail riding with joyriders , give me an idea of which companies are worthy of looking at for insurance please.....cheers

No recommedations on which company to use. However, Martin Lewis website moneysavingexpert.com was saying that some insurance companies now class Spain as outside Europe?! Read this just before Christmas. Probably something to do with rise in medical costs since the credit crunch?
Probably worth checking if you're about to throw yourself down a Spanish mountain.

Check your home contents insurance. Mine covers away from home bike theft, which would cover a bike abroad too to my surprise. No need to cover yourself twice.

I've always used Snowcard, never had to claim but have read in the past they've done a good job...
