Morning folks,
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 2015 and 2016 Transition Scout? I heard there is a difference in BB height but i'm struggling to find anything online.

Seems nothing has changed, 2015 is listed as 330mm bb as is the 2016/17 versions, however on the original geometry chart it says both drop is 20 and on the new ones it's 24mm, how that works when they claim the bb remains the same I have no idea!! Either way I'd be astonished if you could tell any difference between them. On that kind of bike I've found 330 to be about perfect for bb height
Transition is raising the bottom bracket height on the Smuggler and Scout by 5mm for 2016. They're also now spec'ing bikes with 170 vs 175mm cranks to give a little more clearance.
Unfortunately figures for both are a bit arbitrary (Height depends on tyres/pressure; Drop depends on fork axle-crown length).
So it's possible for the numbers to change, but the actual geo to remain the same and vice versa 🙁
Best getting the info from Transition themselves.
I seem to remember (but definitely a bit vague) that Transition raised the BB as soon as the second batch came through, but I can't remember if they changed the year/designation at the same time.
They also raised the BB on the 2nd iteration of the Smuggler
