Any use one of these as an all rounder?

I'm thinking about building one up.

Not sure how a large would measure up, I'm 6ft!?

I would have thought a covert would make a better all rounder. Theres a shiny orange one hanging up in my LBS tempting me at the moment.

smaller chainstays on the covert make it less ideal for my spectrum of riding. i like my rocket. 33.5lbs ๐Ÿ™‚

Your all round is probably a little different to most...

I'm not expecting an XC whippet I just need something that will cope with a little light abuse from an uplift day as well as being hauled around a trail centre really.
It'd be kitted with 36's,Hope Wheelset and other lightish parts.

Anybody got a picture of a large built up? they all seem to look small on google images.

I've got one, and I don't really like riding it on the flat, let alone uphill.

Not saying it isn't easy to chuck around, hop about on etc, but it's no trail centre trail bike.

Not how mine is built anyway (and it's not a particularly heavy build)

the new frames are just over half pound heavier than the covert
