[#2056299]

Thinking about next years challenge, and I think its time to try the Transalp. However the missing bit is a partner (and a step increase in fitness). I have finished multi days races before, though never quickly (Transwales this year and Cape Epic a few years ago). I am 43 and based in Bristol. If interested drop me a line on moc.liamtoh@hsramgs.

Got a training plan somewhere that I can dig out for you, if you're interested.

Did it in 2009 and keen to do it again next year, though I've just remembered it clashes with my Dad's 70th birthday so may have to wait until 2012.

Brilliant event.

A plan would be good if it comes to hand. This years training is going to be a little more focussed to make sure this isn't a sufferfest !!

prepare yourself for lots fireroad clims and descents and being surrounded by loads of geeky germans on carbon hardtails wearing skin tight lycra.

You've not done it then?

Over 600+ kms there is a good bit of tarmac and fireroad, but there are miles and miles of amazing climbs and descents and the final downhill on the last day is a real treat - if you can ride it...

Plenty challenging enough, I'd say.
