Anyone done the training courses at Glentress run by the Emma and Tracy? Mrs TJ is thinking of doing one but is undecided between the level 1 and level2.

She has ridden bikes for years and is happy to potter down the easy blue bits on her own she does not have much MTB skills tho

thoughts? Ta

tick , im also interested in this as my missus can ride red routes on own but needs a few pointers in body position, cornering and where to look....ie not at front wheel (and she admits it her self its not just me being critical)...and try as i might to help she wont listen to me ....whos missus does ?

looking at level 1 i think it would be a waste of 99 quid , level 2 how ever "sounds" that bit advanced and worried that if i send her on that she will be told she should have done level 1 first....

TJ, we have done it, the we being a bunch from the cycle club. We thought that it was very helpful though we were a mixed bunch from solid GT black riders to new starts. Since then a couple of good things have happened:

Group size dropped so more attention from the girls
Course split to level 1, 2 , 3 to help stream the attendees.

Its a bit confusing on what sits in what level though. Our club has arranged a Level 2 all girls and a level 3 to come. I am doing a beginners to save some cash.

We have found it best and easiest to just call the girls, talk where Mrs TJ is at and what's best, they are really helpful.

"and try as i might to help she wont listen to me",

This fact alone IME is well worth investing £99 for a quiet life and happy trails in the future. Sometimes the same message from "someone else" does the trick. Especially if the someone else has a track record.

Literally......
