I have to go to Solihul for next week for the morning and was thinking of trying to get a quick ride in on the way back. I would like to go to Cannock but it totally the wrong direction as I will be heading back down to dorset.
Any ideas for trails on the way back down from there - something fun, some flowy singletrack but easy to follow would be good

Yes Cannock is 40 mins north, but it's an easy day out, all signposted etc.
Trails around Solihull are ok but I only ride them as they are on the doorstep.
Best riding is Wyre Forest but that's an hour west - and you need a guide there to get anywhere.
Returning south you could stop off in Cotswolds - Snowshill is nice. There is a decent run in the vp mtb book.
Forest of Dean is meant to be good but I'm yet to visit.
