Brechfa is superb. Go play, have fun!

Great countryside around Pembrokeshire. Barafundle and Fresh West are my fave beaches.
The Stackpole Inn was very good on my last visit, as is the ever superb "Quay", aka Cresselly Arms at Cresswell Quay.

You could do Cwm Rhaeadr which is just up past Brechfa as an add on to Brechfa itself.

Is Bluestone in Pembrokeshire? Could do teh Preseli trail featured in this months ST issue? Haven't done it myself yet tho

Have a look at Bike Brechfa website here. They post here frequently FYI

I'm doing a trip to the area in April, plenty of choice and Brecons are only an hour away.

I don't know if it's better i guess it depends on what your looking for but Afon is just before swansea and has plenty to choose from and theres also Cwmcarn as your passing.
