Doing the return to earth challenge and am 7for7 so far with Strava imports... However there's no privacy zone.. i see that I can do it but have to unlink Strava and start again.. presumably will need to delete the existing rides but will I loose my badges?

Trailforks needs it's own privacy zones set, so I mark all my Trailforks stuff as private.
I'll look at setting zones up again, but I wasn't aware it would need to delete then respond rides.

Don't know if they've changed it but problem I found with publishing rides is if part of your ride goes through a sensitive trail or area, the whole ride is flagged and can't be shared. Though I'm with them on the protection of sensitive trails, but couldn't even share just with select friends.
