High Crag/Warnscale?
Yes, it does look like High Crag, Warnscale and a bit of Scarth Gap. Looks like a grand ride.

Does anyone ever ride the bridleway straight down (due east) from Gamlin End, rather than the path to Seat and Scarth Gap?
That is proper nice. All that exposure would get my pipe twitching. Also reminds me why I love the idea of an alpine hardtail, but will be sticking with a suss bike for a while yet. 🙂
Definitely looks like Scarth Gap, but not so much Warnscale. Ace vid though wherever it is!
I love the way the trail dog runs ahead then waits for the rider to catch up 😀
Any dog I've ever owned would have been either under the wheels, running off in the wrong direction or trying to chase sheep (NB they were always kept on a lead around sheep).
Don't think it's Warnscale we did that a few weeks ago, but it looks ace.

Last bit is defo Scarth Gap down to Buttermere. Not sure about the first bit. Don't think any of it is Warnscale.

1. Thats a great little vid.
2. I need to ride in the Lakes a LOT more.
3. Can I include everything in that vid into a big loop of a ride?

The quickest loop is up through Burtness wood to Bleaberry Tarn, onto Red Pike and take a left. There's a longer, less steep route up the back by Scale Force.

@Daveyboywonder - you need to look into doing the four passes - Honister Pass, Warnscale Bottom, Scarth Gap Pass, Black Sail Pass to Wasdale Head and then over Sty Head back to the bottom of Honister.
