Is this trail going to be drier than the Sth Downs. I was hoping to get a decent ride in but if its mud all the way, I can't take anymore!

It'll be differently crap, not clay or chalk, but it will be a massive slog, and it will annihilate the trails even more. I'd not bother.
Few weeks away though innit if I've Googled the same one?
