i have been thinking of doing trans province or savoie

A mate of mine has done the TE twice. First time he was sitting just outside the top ten after 3 days but this drank some water from a stream and got really ill. It was very hard work and almost put him off riding for a while. I think they changed it a little second time around and lessened some of the transitions and although he crashed and mangled his face that time, he really enjoyed it!

I think they both require you to have done a certain number of events before letting you enter don't they?

I'm not after actually racing but riding the same course but without the pressure of being against the clock. Trail Addiction do guided 6 day tours, I think there a a few places left for Aug' 15. t.A. have pretty strict grading criterium to see if this experience is right for you as its very full on exposed, techy , out there trails.
