Where Niner's ROS 9 seems to melt impacts and trail trauma and the Singular Buzzard feels pretty lively and keen under power, the Cotic thuds along with a noticeably less dynamic feel.

They are all pretty good bikes, but what does this mean?

"Flattens trail chunder like a firm butter knife spreading warm margarine" was the worst one I've read.

Edit: Another one I read on some other forum was by a guy who said he likes to ride smaller frames because "my riding style is dynamic and I like to pop and clip off trail features."

Trail features = rocks, stones, roots, the odd bit of litter, dog shoyt?

I like a "magic carpet" or "sofa" ride personally. Especially one that can "pop" when needed.
