[#914002]

Been searching for something for my Casseroll. Have found those below (and a few others, inc some kinesis alloy mingers and some beefy carbon things) anything else out there?

I want 1 1/8", reasonably light, no canti mounts (unless they can be sawed off!) capable of mounting some sort of rack and not look stupid on a steel frame. Not super heavy, not super expensive!

I've got a voodoo carbon fork on my suttra, same as this one on the frame here:

Got is from sideways for £99 and it is a pretty good piece of kit for the money and a lot less harsh than the p2 it replaced.

I have a pair of Kinesis Alloy Mingers. Fine for road but hard work and clattery for CX, and ugly as sin... BUT the Kinesis CARBON forks would be great - and fat birds a good shop, they would be my pick by a looooooong shot. Carbon really the only way to go for road forks.

I've got the Kinesis DC19's on my major jake. They look slightly weird (like they're on the wrong way round) but ride loovely with no brake judder from the disc

The major in riser bar mode

Cheers gents, the Kinesis doesn't looks so bad on a bike.

It's going on a bronze steel frame and I'd prefer it not to look too minging! For that reason I'm out on the Voodoo forks - even I wouldn't saw those canti bosses off

Singular sells the peregrine forks seperate (not on the site, you might have to email). Might be worth a look.
