Here are the Tour de Yorkshire routes maps:

http://letouryorkshire.com/stage-1/map

http://letouryorkshire.com/stage-2/map

http://letouryorkshire.com/stage-3/map

Some interesting route choices.

Like it.

And there is an audience participation day on the 3rd.

Stage 1 looks like a good excuse for a ride round Dalby Forest to me. Stop for a quick bit of heckling and then ride on 🙂

Stage 3 goes right through my village then up a categorized climb, quite a nice, sharp one too. Excellent. 😀

I think I might book the entire weekend off, ride out Scarborough way, then come back via York...

I'd need a better reason than that to go back to Dalby.

That looks great, going within about 100m of three of my old houses! There should be some properly iconic photos climbing up past the Cow and Calf

They're going to ride *down* West Chevin Road?? At speed?

I know they're pros but that could be carnage!

They'll be barrelling down Cragg Vale as well. That should be worth a watch, guaranteed to be some thrills and maybe a couple of spills..

I'm looking forward to "Cote de Scapegoat Hill" just a couple of miles from home

Kind of concur with Bregante's view of Dalby, though in fairness when I rode it some of the best sections (or so I'm told) were closed.

However, stage 3 looks like a good excuse for a ride round Hebden (the Pig, Lumb falls, Pecket Well descent) with a stop at the Robin Hood Inn in Pecket Well to cheer/heckle!

Damn... I used to have the KOM at one time for that but I'll be a long way down the list soon.

Shame they didn't do a day of hill after hill after hill in the Dales 😥

Could have been a real climbfest and watched by all the MTBs...

Still a better route than the Tour of Britain has been recently.
