Im about to buy a torque wrench for my bike, could anyone tell me what the highest NM im likely to need, i was going to get 2-25nm.

40 for cassettes but I don't know anyone that bothers

Not lower then 2nm, unless you've got some stupid components like carbon bolts or something. 2-25nm sounds perfect.
