Do you use a torque wrench regularly for bike maintenance?

I have one but don't use it any more, after a whlie I think you get a feel for what needs to be tight etc. I don't use carbon/ti parts though, if I did I probably would.

try and use it as often as possible, keep the torque right and the bolts, threads etc all last longer.

I've just ordered my first torque wrench this week after 25 years of fettling bikes..

This is mainly due to the fact that I've now started fettling my other half's bike too..

the cheap and cheerful number from CRC.. hopefully it won't prove to be a false economy..

the only negative reviews seem to be referring to an entirely different product so I'm quite hopeful..

I've seen this one, it's got a really good range on it - even better that the park tool clicker.

More people are seeing the need for a torque wrench due to more carbon being around on frames and parts. I'd rather have the torque wrench than damage my carbon bars for example.

Never. Four more things to go wrong init.
Datasheet might be wrong.
You might misread the value.
You might misenter it in the wrench.
The wrench might not work correctly.
