I nominate the DH area of the FoD.

Clearly being an armour plated mx wannabe makes you a litter dumping asshat.

Mabie jump/skills area.
Jemma and Rachael from the shop/cafe have had a bit of a campaign going recently to get riders to keep it clean and seems to be working............see Mabie Shed facebook page

Sherwood Pines jumpy bits have the same problem. I went down just after Christmas once and the ground was liberally decorated with empty selection boxes. I guess that confirms the age range of the litterers.

Anywhere theres dirt jumps it seems- my local spot was bulldozed because of the cack dumped there. All the hard work we put in over the years for nowt.
Will people please realise that you dont dump on your own doorstep. Take it home and bin it ๐Ÿ™„
Mainly it seems to be the kids as ive observed.

top of the switchbacks on the upper and lower cliff sections of the monkey trail @ Cannock. Seems to be a good place to stop and loiter/litter.

Old Winchester Hill in the S'Downs... must be the "hard" climb on the SDW that sorts out the "Gel Brigade".

Oh and the woods at Beacon Hill near Bishops Waltham.. that too must be a gathering point for "Gel Bellies" as there seems to be quite a few cast offs there.

Stainburn Forest near Harrogate gets it's fair share of litter bugs too.

But in the main and of all the riding I've done over the years, we're really not that bad. The only places I really see lots of litter are in car parks near forests, and that tends to be them 20 minute'ers.

Two locations spring to mind Llandegla for inner tubes!! and the crossing point on the ridge just below Moel Famau/ "over the top" by the wall, energy drink bottles.
if you left home with them why cant you take them home

The jump gulley at Swinley is the worst I've ever seen. I seem to remember the start of the black run at Whites Level (Afan) being a bit littery too, but Swinley is miles worse.

Yep because a camalbak mule obviously can't handle an energy gel wrapper.

When I am King Of The World, those caught dropping litter will be forced to eat it.

The same will go for dog-owners who don't scoop the poop. As for those who hang the poop bags in trees, they will be attached to their dogs in a Human Centipede stylee

+1 swinley in the middle of labyrinth. I see the bin liners taped to the trees these days but first few times through the place looked like a landfill.

Llandegla...top of every climb/rise/incline.

Too true, at the end of the main climb is a favourite, just as you cross a fireroad into what is now the forested area.

Just sup on some water and pies myself, not like I am a pro athlete.

Reading a local magazine, camel burgers were recommended...

OK then, so let's pick it up if we see it, I don't mean full on litter collection, just if you see a wrapper on the trail don't pass it pick it up. I do think some people genuinely drop them by mistake, on the other hand some people just don't care, on the SDW someone had shoved a load of gel wrappers in the slats of the bench in Jevington.

+100 for Swinley, particularly the jump gulley and the small section on baby maker. I asked a couple
Kids to pick up their crap they had just dropped and was told "why should I, other people do it" when I politely explained that it'll end up with the gulley being closed bulldozed banned or whatever i was told "there's plenty of other places to jump, init"

Shame really ๐Ÿ™

I must admit I have been told I've dropped a gel wrapper out of my pocket by someone following me so I do try to pick up the odd one I see on the trails as they can be accidental, but the BMX jumps area at Pines Ridge on Woodbury is terrible for litter, and it gets much worse in the summer holidays.

The kids at Swinley really get my goat! Why should there be a need to tape bin liners to a tree in the middle of a forest.!? What makes it worse is they still drop litter next to the make shift bins.?

Swinley jump gulley & baby maker are the worst places I've seen. I met the ranger clearing the jump gulley one Monday morning last year and my first impression was the the foxes had been through the bin liners, but he said it was the same every week.

Bostall Woods in Abbey Wood SE London- quite good for burnt out cars, old discarded sofa's and a bit of fly tipping.
The cars are good- built some jumps over them and they're good for a bit of trials practice ๐Ÿ˜‰ and the sofa's are good as there's something to sit on when you're taking a break ๐Ÿ˜†
