I need to change the chainring on my 12sp shimano cranks but don't have the tl-fc41 tool. Nowhere seems to have them in stock, same for the park tools equivalent.
Is there another tool that I could use (or even adapt)?

Any mates got the cranks that they bought aftermarket? They come with the tool.
No. Well, they might, but I live at the opposite end of the country to my biking mates. Sob.
Where are you based? Will be someone nearby will have one surely? I have one and am in Aberdeen if that's any use?
Thanks for the offer, I'm in Dundee so may just try one of the local shops and see if they have one in their workshops (not holding my breath though)
