Feeling all ‘Sniffy’ and bunged up. Throat a bit sore.

Afan’s a 5 min drive away. Encourage, lambast , rant at me?

Should I go,or best to sit at home with the lemsip?

hard exercise with a cold is associated with sudden adult death syndrome.

So if you can pootle around gently not getting out of breath maybe. Otherwise no

Depends where the cold is too. If it's all in your head and you otherwise have energy then go for a gentle ride. If it's spread or you otherwise are short of mojo, then stay at home.

+1 for kill or cure. Get some boil in the bag water proof kit on and sweat it out. 😀

If its above the neck, go for a ride. If its below the neck, I.e. chesty or achy limbs, stay at home. If you're running a temperature you will put strain on your heart, trying to maintain body temperature.

That's my mantra.

A bit of light exercise is OK because exercise stimulates your immune system.

General medical convention states. If its above the neck you're OK to exercise lightly. Below the neck or fever, not OK to exercise.

PS.

If you want to know why not to ride through a fever or chest infection read the section on Myocarditis
