Apparently my 8 year old daughter has now decided that I am not allowed anywhere near her school on this contraption...

Can't blame her. How do you fit on the back?

Doesn't the Brompton lose it's only legitimate reason for existing when you remove the ability to fold it up?

The seatpost is removable. The Brompton is currently folded up in the kitchen.

It might be acceptable to take her to clown school on that

You need a tag-a-long with a 29er on the back. It would look like a penny farthing in reverse. ๐Ÿ˜†

I am surprised you haven't been banned form the forum for that

My daughter refused to use the tag-a-long when she got to about 7.

She used to scoot there and back instead and I rode alongside.

Then I was told to ride ahead and wait at road crossings/junctions.

If I tried to walk her to school now (she's 12) I'd be shunned for life.

Is the tagalong mount clamp supposed to be that high up? the seat/bars look very leant back (genuine question)

A simple rule of thumb is not to put a tag-along on anything with smaller wheels

I also wondered about that D0nk - can't be at all comfortable and can't see any practical reason for the clamp height.

BB axle looks way too far above the hub too on the tag-along.

My 4 year old couldn't give a toss about such things. It's for getting her to and from nursery and going to the park. Clamp height irrelevant. She's happy with it.

You really should dress differently if you're going to ride that! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I was more wondering about comfort/stability than aesthetics.
She's happy with it.
