Bah! I felt great heading out on the road on Monday. Hadn't registered the breeze until I turned for home. Cue painful slog.
I love it when your speed matches the wind.
You get in a quiet bubble and all you can hear are your tyres.
Tailwind, whats that then? It is either a headwind or a good day when my training is paying off 😆
I'm sure the wind around my way plays tricks on me.
You slog along with it in your face, a few turns so it should be behind you and, oh what a blooming surprise, it's still in my face!
My route home is directly east to west, so I'm used to a constant headwind. Injured at the moment so spared a 25mile suffer/slog at the moment.
'Twas awesomest! Almost equalled plastic fantastic road bike commute time on heavy steel commuter.

My ride home is due east which is usually a headwind then I turn and come back along the other side of the river due west. ho hum. rarely is it a win.
