Nice pics there DeeJay
Last time I was down there the ruts Ton is riding out of were running water like a river and the wind was trying it`s best to blow us away โ—
Mate was test riding an Orange 5 from Kudu/Orange. We ended the day without any pads let which was weird considering we barely used our brakes all day โ—

Testing a Pig weekend after next down at 18bikes

DeeJay - after Glentress I was thinking it would be great to join you on one of your rides but now I know you mad people do 45 or so mile rides I am not so sure I'd even get half way!

Looks like an awesome day riding though.

Simon - you would be more than welcome - ride would be suitable - honest!

Trekster - sounds like a day we had last year where we climbed Rottenstone Hill into the teeth of a howling gale - we gave up and turned onto the Cam High Road - did not need to pedal as the wind pushed us along at a steady 20mph!!!

This picture is fascinating for two reasons. Firstly, you really can see the slackness of the Pig's head angle compaered to the seat angle, and secondly you can appreciate the sheer size of Ton with Pen-Y-Ghent for scale. ๐Ÿ™‚

what forks are you using Ton? as I need to replace my Pikes which are knackered (they are 05 one so that seems an OK lifespan) so I am looking around at options
