[#189359]

Was going to do the Tod CX but the alternator went on the mighty Vectra and the Citroen C1 hire car is too small for the bike. So now i'm going to spend Sunday going to Tesco with my 1 year old and taking down the decorations whilst the wife surfs the internet for houses that we can't afford. Cock.

Hope that those who are doing it have a lovely old time.

I'll do the HtN 1.5 lap again, but on my Uncle John. I was too scared to use it today in case I made a tit of myself.

I was gong to race too, but have been ill all week and am still unwell. Might go along and watch/support if I'm up to it though.

Same as Gingerflash for me 🙁

Can't believe that you can't get a bike in a C1, you're clearly not trying very hard.

I've seen 2 bikes in the back of a Mini (the original one, not the new big one) so you MUST be able to get 1 bike into a C1 surely?!
I'm racing tomorrow - got a nasty feeling it's going to hurt...

Well... you can get a CX in a C1.

I did 6 laps which i'm quite pleased with because it is the first time i've ridden a CX anywhere (apart from the road outside my house), let alone in a race.

That was good fun, big turnout including a few fast boys and girls to show us mortals how it should be done.

I did the jump too and got a cheer from the local urchins.

SFB - I suspect that you would like arse biscuits.

That was a good turn out and well done to Chipps etal for a good race, even the cobbled climb, which I guess you had to have in Tod as you won't be able to add them in to many cross races in the UK. You should do one again in the summer series.

Anyway...

Thanks everyone for turning up. Sorry if I blanked anyone while running around mentally all day with a radio and stripey tape... I'm afraid we're going to have to do it all over again next year. 🙂

Not surprisingly it's quite hard to buy very loud firing guns in Todmorden on a Saturday afternoon, so I used a very flash, silver ray guy 🙂

I'm borrowing a starting pistol for next time though.

We're following your example and starting HtN 1.5 by waving lightsabres.
