So we bought a Specialized Mio Helmet for our 1yo son back in January Lockdown. It fitted at first but it is now too tight on his head (width wise).
Anyone got any experience on other helmet brands for toddler heads that fit wide? Just trying to work out which shops to try and visit so I don't have to go try every style with a 18 month old.
I got a Bell Sidetrack Youth helmet a couple of months ago for my 2 year old.
Light, straps can be adjusted, and the buckle is great for avoiding pinching his neck.
We had an small Abus Scraper 2 Kids helmet for our lad from 1.5 to 4 ish that his sister adopted well before she turned two after growing out of her 46-50 cm Halfords kids helmet.
Our kids both have pretty large heads in general (the boy has been in a medium adult helmet since turning 5) and the abus always seemed to be a decent fit (though the look when they were smaller was pretty comical). It has plenty of adjustment in the cradle so could work for your son too if you can find one of the newer ones to try.
