Had a lovely ride today even though I forgot my camelbak and left it at home with all my food/drink /tools etc in. Plenty of fine downhills and some nice legs testing ups . Lunch at the pub in Holford(which is now super biker friendly). The two Bens put in an extra loop just to add some mileage but Ali and I took the short cut as we were tired. Comments ?

some lovely calves on display ๐
Hey Mr Knott, too many gears on those bikes ๐
I was going to ride my SS but I havent ridden my 456 for ages and the ss was dirty.
I'll be there tomorrow. Only my first visit this year I'm ashamed to say.
Nice as ever Knottie. Never biked the Q's but did some walking there this summer, must return soon on the bike!
Of course a local guide would be marvellous ๐
Ditto that. Having burst my 'biking in the SW' cherry last week with a weekend on Exmoor, and having heard much about the Q's, I'm on for a STW ride down there.
Nice. Need to go back, but not before the snows come.
I always wanted to see Quantocks but never go there as I dont know the routes, etc, in fear getting lost, hope to get a ride in next month if there a local guide willing show me the trails for a few hours, will buy you a pint and cake for your effort.
Ahem ....local guide is up for sorting a stw ride again soon.
sorting a stw ride again soon.
Surely its not cold enough and wet enough yet? ๐
I know what you mean , no one would want to ride dry dusty trails .
in fear getting lost
that's the best bit about the quantocks, if you get lost, head uphill and you'll end up back on the main ridge.

That's good to know, I can stop avoiding the place if that miserable bellend's moved on.
Yes please Paul!
