I got out for a gentle ride around "the other side" of the Qs today. I used a few trails I dont usually bother with and I can see why now. Mud everywhere .I fell off early on smackin my head and busting a camera lense. Sickening as I only just got it off ebay ! Still it was cheap. I headed over to the DH trails were Kingston(my alter ego) jumped on the bike and thrashed it down the muddy manmade stuff. Anyway I didnt take many pics but I am out again tomorrow with Old fart and miss Annabanana . Comments ?

See you there.
I came in to work tonight across the hills (Lydeard Hill, Triscome, Great Wood), pitch black, foggy, on a CX bike, can't say its a combination that I'd recommend ๐
your mad Dibbs !
Hopefully the burnt out car will be removed from the top carpark.
Funny you think your ss HT is the wrong bike for the triscombe trails.
Mine loves it down there even when i'm trying to keep up with Jonny and loose Charlie...Meanwhile at this time your getting told off by the law for upsetting walkers..
Hee hee
well how would you have me spell it ?
dictionary spelling is "lens"
Spelling mistakes, etc, need to be made on here, so that trolls and gawd knows 'who_else' can unconstructively criticise someone. ๐

no, it was a genuine question - why do so many on here put "lense" instead? They seem to think it's correct...
Wasn't having a pop Simon.
I think it's a combination.
A. Either laziness to spell check.
B. Lack of ability to spell check.
C. Not knowing the right way.
D. Above + not really caring, as people should understand what it's meant to mean regardless of it's spelling, most people know what is meant as we only truly see the basics of the word structure.
a lens is a single optical glass a lense is made of several lens .

thanks for explaining - how did you find this out ? An dlens is the plural too ?
I worked for a company who made lens for a short while.
what's the going rate for a len, knottie? just so i know, like.
The variant spelling lense is sometimes seen. While it is listed as an alternative spelling in some dictionaries, most mainstream dictionaries do not list it as acceptable
From Wikipedia so it must be true.
