After assuming spring had sprung yesterday, I went out for a long ride today. conditions reminscent of Mountain Mayhem 2008. Proper mud fest. Ace.

yes it does look suspect. Thankfully, it's just a different sort of mud!

I was sad to see lots of dog walkers yesterday sheepishly kicking leaves over their dogs sh!t and walking on. annoyed at myself that I didn't say anything. :-/

When I had mud like that, some forced it's way under the fork lip seals, IMO drop your lowers and give them some TLC.

We had a couple of hours in the Cotswolds yesterday and it was surprisingly ok. Only one short section completely trashed. Careful choice of route mind.

I'd love to. but I know myself, and as much as I will talk about it. I just know it's not gonna happen. That said, at least they're not Fox. riding through mud like that would probably invalidate the warranty ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Although my local ride today was pretty much like your mud fest, there was a distinct lack of dog walkers.
Which meant the dog egg threat was minimalised.

The ones that I did encounter were being good and picking up their pooches deposits, and were most friendly.

Now I know why I have a cat instead.
