Could well be. I think I spoke to you after last years. Fun, wasn't it?

now then, after a quick experiment with fixed off road riding this could be just the ticket and my dads house is just across the road so getting wet, cold and muddy isn't an issue.

any website or owt with more details?

Yep, it's definitely on Jan 2nd. All racers, spectators (and marshal volunteers) welcome. Should be a good bash. I have the town band booked again and hope to have the frites van there to dispense hot, greasy goodness. Showers and changing at the sports centre too.

And the cobbles are in, unless it's frozen and icy... ๐Ÿ™‚

I was helping last year with the real Clover (apricot standard poodle) patiently taking the entries (she was patient, I was drafted in at the last minute and slightly clueless).

Might have a go this year - although course is a bit intimidating (have done a three 'cross races this year and turning up not knowing what the course is like helps - innocence is bliss till the warm up lap...).

Oh, and if anyone fancies marshalling... You'll get a nice yellow vest and many burger vouchers ๐Ÿ™‚

Those showers saved my toes last year.

Nice one Chipps, I'll be over from Ireland again for it ๐Ÿ™‚

We like to please Greg. I think it's one of the only races with hot showers and indoor changing...
And the town brass band, and a frites van (with mayo, natch), and cobbles!
