Sorry for the title, toy story was on my mind.
Ok so here is ma question...
Do you think that rigid forks, these ones in particular[img]
[/img]
are suitable for dirt jumping... Obviously front sus would be nice but I don't have £300 to spare at the moment.
They are made by DMR for dirt jumping, but could it cause a long list of problems...
For example...
Headset cracking
Premature metal fatigue
Wrist ache (not a big issue)
Wheels getting damaged
etc?
Any thoughts welcome
are you good at dirt jumping ?
That fork won't cause any of the issues you describe bar perhaps wrists/bodily issues.
Isn't the point of dirt jumping that you are landing on ramps etc so there's no need for suspension?

Rubbish and proud.
They are also going to be used for cross country.
Probably if I'm being truthful more cross country more than jumping. Cheers for your' advice Al. : )
Dirt jumps are smooth and not really hard on the bike like drops to flat or something.
You will break long before they will don't worry!
guess I don't have anything to worry about then. : )You will break long before they will don't worry!
