Entered a mid week Audax tomorrow start/finish Maidenhead,
Will I get wetter than a wet thing?
What's the weather doing up there today, it's been much better than forecast down in Wiltshire.

if you need to lose weight eat flap jack instead of cake.
Have a single helping of cake then: you'll still be up on the day over 110k.
Plus if you beast it, it'll only be 4 hours getting wet 😉
some of my favorite audaxes have been in the rain !
It's a 10.00 start and the rain looks forecast to clear midday ish,
it's just the thought of the last couple of hours with soggy gear on
