I've changed both bushings and now have a little tiny bit of play from the bottom mounting - not sure if I've done something wrong or ..............
It's a Fox DHX5.0 on a Specialised enduro if that makes any difference??
borked swing arm
not quite sure what you mean?
The play is at the bottom mounting point, which is on the down tube right next to the junction with the seat tube. I can actually see a tiny amount of movement almost between the shock between the and the bolt
is it torqued correctly?
Did you use a polymer bushing with a regular shock mount? (i did and thought it had a little play compared to a heavy duty mount).
What did you use to fit the shock mount into the new bushing, could it have got damaged? Was the shock mount a tight fit into the bushing?
did you fit a spacer and rubber ring both sides (heavy duty mount)?
It's the heavy duty one form TFtuned, and I put in the spacers/rubber rings in as per the instructions.
It's almost as if the internal diameter is a little big for the bolt (if that makes sense - although I measured this when I ordered them.
Used the specific tool to fit the bushings and the mounting hardware seems ok.
worn bolt
there is a very small area on the bolt wear the coating is worn, but it seems too small to allow any play, and the bolt seems not to show any signs of wear that would create play.

It could be that its too big but that would be very obvious as its probably an M8 or M10. Did you make sure the pin was central, then fit the o rings then the aluminium spacers. The only thing I can think is that the bushing kit is perhaps too short(narrow). The bolts/shock mount only clamps the frame down on to the spacers, so if the spacers arent a tight-ish fit in the frame mount to start with you will have play. The bolts/shock mount are usually loose in the bushing before everything is tightened up. Push the suspension down a bit as you tighten the mounts too.
Check also that the frame mount isnt worn where it contacts the spacers.
