This time of year the cold air makes my nose stream when I cycle and I'll often clear it with a snot rocket ...or 2 ( one for each nostril). I usually do it when stopped and bend over so its safely discharged to the road but now it seems London boroughs are about to set on the spot fines of possibly £80 for spitting in public..... Time to get winter gloves with a wipe patch? Maybe over due?

I never do it on the sidewalk either. That's because I don't ride in America.
I seem to remember lots of spitting during ramadan in the east end, could be a good money spinner.
How does one catch TB from spitting? Do people lick it off the floor?

Carry some tissues ?? Can't imagine you are shredding the knarr on the road fast enough not to stop at lights n'such, try kitchen towel it's a bit stronger and can be opened with gloves. I recommend a couple of sheets not the whole roll unless you think you may need it.
