[Closed] Time road pedal set up query ?

Ok, newbie to SPD road pedals and went for Time RXS and I use Time's off road.

There is an option with the cleats to have minimum or maximum offset between the shoe and the crank arm. The instructions list the minimum offset first, which makes me think that is the default ? am I right ? I'd rather start with the default first, assuming this most likely models the mtb 'width' setup.

Thanks

MTB cranks have a wider q measurement (distance between crank arm faces) than road bikes, so if you want your feet to match the position of your MTB then go for the wider option. Personally tho i prefer narrower for road, just feels better.

bike fit session today also suggests narrow, unless I feel that I am scuffing cranks....
