firstly let me wish you all a happy new year 😀
Just after first hand experience of riding in Tignes, we are looking at staying for a week in Le Lac so any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

A good place to fill a day or two but no more imho. Have been a couple of times now and as a day trip it'd worth a visit. Lift passes were free this year due to a sponsor.
If you're near there you're also near bourg st maurice, the funicular and all the delights of the les arcs area as well.

Save the extra drive time and just ride Les Arcs ?
