I know some members have bought off the peg ti frames from far east and been pleased so I'm hoping this will be OK when it turns up. Will try and post some pics when it does.

Cant help thinking for that money a Thomson Alloy or a Cheaper carbon would be just as light and have a warranty at least if it does fail.

Aye maybe a second hand Thomson might have been a better option. Not sure I could get a carbon post for 35 odd quid though.

We shall see. It's not exactly muddy here and most of the riding I do is on cycle lanes / roads / commuting so no heavy landing on the seat. It's meant to be a ti clamp and bolts. Until it turns up and I've stuck it on I won't know. Worth a shot though. Gotta be better than the Specialized post that's in now.
