Am thinking of building us my ti audax bike ap my commuter. locked inside in the day but also outside pubs etc during my hectic social life.

only bike geeks will recognise ti
so its as likely as any other bike to get nicked, unless its nicked to order.
No - commuter/pub bike should have a value equal to a good nights drinking.

The only bike you should take to the pub is a unicycle.
That way if you're blootered you won't ride home 🙂
