Stoner, how is it as an all day bike, I dont know whether to go Ti or susser?

I got rid of my full susser a couple of years ago and went to a scandal 29er first. Only problem Ive had is riding Ae where the trail repairs are miles of angular blocks and bricks and you have to stand up to avoid pinch flats on.

Otherwise it's fine for riding all day - nice cockpit size, supple but doesnt bounce back and hit you in the arse with the saddle. And of course 29ers just roll and roll.

What's the tyre clearance like at the back?

not huge.

I have 2.1" ignitors (come up about 51mm wide I think) and there's about 5-8mm clearance each side (from memory). Id be careful putting anything more than 2.25" in there but then as we know carcass width (the x.xx" figure) doesnt always translate into a fatter inflated tyre.

Though you can pull the wheel back in the dropouts for more.
