I'm looking at getting something slightly faster rolling than the maxxis ignitors i have on my hardtail, which is used for weekday commutes of 20 miles a day. The reason for not going full slick or the likes is that i like to come back now and again via bridleways and tracks.

I've seen that the Thunder Burts get a good rep, but at the price they're going for, do they wear quickly, would 100 miles commuting a week kill them before i get a few offroad uses, or do they wear well, alternatively, is there anything else that's decent for this type of thing at a similar weight or rolling resistance?

They're a lightweight race tyre, dreadful choice for commuting.

Smart Sams or Rapid Robs would be better.
